From single-family homes and residential income properties to commercial office space and land, Scott is a consummate professional who brings years of industry expertise — along with world-class service — to every client he meets.
Scott’s first exposure to real estate began with personal property investments. He started buying fixer-uppers and quickly fell in love with the industry before earning his real estate license in 1976. After working with a large real estate development company building and selling nearly 825 multifamily units in Bakersfield, he founded an independent firm with his wife, Darlene, in 2007.
During his tenure, Scott earned the Bakersfield Realtor® of the Year award in 2009. He was a director of the California Association of Realtors® (CAR®) from 2009 to 2016, president of the Bakersfield Association of Realtors® in 2012, and state of California regional chair for CAR® in 2015. Scott is a Certified Residential Broker and holds the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager designation from the National Association of Realtors®. His vast experience means that he can prepare clients for every possibility and easily solve any challenge that may arise during the transaction.
In his personal time, the Bakersfield native is a writer who has self-published two books, developed a real estate training manual, and created a self-help workshop. He serves his community through his association with the local Rotary Club and has served on the board of directors for the Special Olympics. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
